COURT: Julia Hayman, 39, of Markenfield in Toothill, must pay £421 after pleading guilty to speeding and driving with bad tyres.

She drove along Great Western Way on May 28 at more than 30mph while both front wheels were fitted with pneumatic tyres which had the ply or cord exposed.

Hayman was fined £156 for speeding plus £75 for each tyre, and must pay £85 in costs plus £30 to victim services.

Four penalty points have been added to her driving licence.

COURT: A motorist has been fined £300 for driving without insurance in Swindon.

Waseem Gull, 26, of County Road, was caught on April 1, initially pleaded not guilty, then changed his plead to guilty.

He has been given eight points on his driving licence and must pay £85 in costs plus £30 to victim services.

COURT: Christopher Webb of Swindon Road has been fined £511 after pleading guilty to driving over 70mph on the M4 on April 28.

The 64-year-old must also pay £85 in costs plus £51 to victim services.

Six points have been added to his driving licence.

COURT: Another motorist from Swindon has been fined £246 for driving without due care and attention in Avebury.

Jefferson Dominelli, 34, of New College Walk, was caught on May 1 and pleaded guilty to the charge.

He has been given five points on his driving licence and must pay £85 in costs plus £30 to victim services.
