A 100-YEAR-OLD woman from Melksham is still keen to look good for her age after indulging in beauty treatments to celebrate her birthday.

Euphrasia Wingfield commemorated her centenary by visiting the Temple Clinic, in Station Road, Warminster, which has provided treatments for three generations of her family.

Beauty therapist Hayley Morgan, who provided the birthday facial and manicure, and has also treated Mrs Wingfield's daughter Sarah and granddaughter Caroline, said: "She loves it. She's quite a regular customer and has been quite a few times but it does wear her out.

"She had been talking to someone where she lives about what they have done and she said she wanted to have a facial before her time was up."

Starline Taxis laid on a complementary taxi service to ensure a total carefree pampering experience for the 100 year old.

that's the spirit love...too many people get old before their time these days. I saw a bit on telly last night about a 93 year old who still plays reugby then goes for a pint afterwards! They are life's unsung heroes..they could teach some of the lazy herberts propping up the benefits queue a thing or two.
