Missing taxi driver may be abroad

Wiltshire Police now believe that missing Corsham man Leonard Burse may currently be abroad.

Taxi driver, Mr Burse, 58, of Pine Close, Rudloe, disappeared after dropping a customer at Trowbridge Railway Station at approximately 10am last Friday.

Police conducted a thorough search of Trowbridge station and surrounding railway lines as well as his home and nearby locations and later received information that he was in the Bristol area.

Sector head for Chippenham and Corsham, Insp.Gavin Williams appealed for Mr Burse to get in touch with Police to ensure he was safe, but added: " We are now following new lines of enquiry that indicate Mr Burse is alive and well abroad."

Anyone who has seen Mr. Burse, or who has any information which may help us trace him is asked to contact Wiltshire Police on 0845 408 7000, or if preferred, anonymous information may be left by ringing the Crimestoppers line on 0800 555111.
