A CELEBRITY entertainer has pledged his support to a paranormal investigation in aid of The Great Ormond Street Hospital.
ITV's Britain's Got Talent finalist Damon Scott is one of the celebrities set to take part in a Famous and Frightened fundraising event, organised by a Wiltshire duo.
Scott, who is famous for his Michael Jackson performances with his puppet Bubbles, said: "It's going to be really good. It's different and it is for a really good cause."
Raffle tickets to help support the event and win the chance to join the celebrity panel of investigators cost £1 per ticket or £5 for a book. They are available online at www.famousandfrightened.com Alternatively they can be bought from Butterflies Florist, Beauty Matters and The Beauty Studio, all based in Warminster.
The idea for the Famous and Frightened event was cooked up here in Wiltshire by paranormal investigator Ray Jorden, 37, and medium and Reiki practitioner Jaine Gray, 36.
The pair, both from Warminster, hope to raise at least £5,000 for the hospital.
Ex-Sugababe star Mutya Buena, Big Brother housemates Kemal and Kinga, and BAFTA award-winning actor Lewis Alsamari are among the celebrities taking part in the paranormal investigation organised for April 2.
Mr Jorden, who is a member of Warminster-based UK5 Paranormal, said: "It will be set at a very haunted location in London. It will be done in teams with each investigating this particular location. I can't say where it is but I can say that it is known for being very, very haunted."
Other raffle prizes include pay-as-you-talk mobile phones, a night of paranormal investigation with Warminster's UK5 Paranormal, a Brokerswood Country Park family ticket, gift vouchers and beauty treatments.
