WILTSHIRE'S latest crop circle seems to predict the partial solar eclipse due to appear over England on August 1.

The formation appeared in a field of grain at West Kennett, near Marlborough, on Friday.

It comprises two intersecting circles, one of them displaying beams of light, and experts say that the proportions are very similar to the amount of the sun that will be eclipsed during August's event.

On the Crop Circle Connector website (www.cropcircleconnector.com) expert Red Collie said: "A new crop picture from West Kennett on June 6 was seemingly intended to illustrate that eclipse as a 40 per cent partial shadow across most of England and Scotland from 10am to 10:30am.

"A faint thin line has been drawn vertically across part of the Sun's shining disc to mark "50 per cent shadow". The dark "Moon" as drawn there does not in fact cover 50 per cent of the Sun with its curved shape, but closer to 30 or 40 per cent, consistent with the partial nature of that eclipse as it will be seen in England."

How can it predict something that has been known about for years.
And it's not going to be a 30 to 40 percent covering of the sun. At most 27% from North Scotland.
Get a grip on reality people.
And yes it is vandalism.
