THE schoolgirl star of BBC children's drama Summerhill went back to her roots when she took part in a production of Lady Jane's School Days.
Holly Bodimeade, from Newtown, Bradford on Avon, joined fellow Year 8 pupils for the production at Stonar School in Atworth, which was created by the students themselves.
After head of drama, Nic Proud, came up with the concept he asked the 12 and 13 year olds to create the scenarios and write the play.
The girls co-wrote six mini plays and between each performance, three elderly ladies including Lady Jane, played by Year 9 pupils reminisced about their school days.
Alexa Adam, lower Sixth prefect at the school said: "It was great to watch girls acting who are not often seen on stage, many of who have huge talent.
"Thirteen year old Tatiana Ross was surprisingly good and brave.
"Considering their age, the dialogue was well developed and there was some excellent play on words.
"It was obvious that much work had gone into the production."
