Disabled man victim of hit and run

A DISABLED man was the victim of a hit-and-run driver as he crossed a road in Salisbury.
The man, who is deaf and partially sighted, was on a pedestrian crossing in South Western Road at lunchtime on Saturday when he was struck by a white soft-top vehicle.
Police said the area was busy at the time and they are appealing for witnesses, who should call 0845 408 7000.
