Three men have been arrested after police deployed a stinger to stop a van in connection with burglaries in Wiltshire.
Officers from Wiltshire Police’s Road Policing Unit identified the allegedly stolen vehicle as one they believed to be involved in burglaries in the Box and Corsham area of the county.
Working with Avon and Somerset Police, officers pre-emptively acted to bring the van to a safe stop in the village of Bathampton, near Bath, by deploying a stinger shortly after 3am on Friday, April 12.
The force has since released footage of the moment the stinger was deployed.

One officer pulled the stinger across the road just seconds prior to the van passing, giving the driver no time to react.
After the van was brought to a halt, police say three males tried to escape on foot.
They were subsequently caught and arrested.
Officers say they have since discovered that the van in question was stolen from Bristol.
