A MAN has lost his driving licence after police caught him behind the wheel whilst over the limit for cannabis.
Shaun Wilkinson, of Lloyd Street in Flint, appeared at Mold Magistrates Court on Thursday.
The 34-year-old admitted that on January 12, he drove a Renault motor vehicle on Greenfield Road in Holywell whilst over the limit for cannabis.
Justin Espie, Prosecuting, told the court that on the day of the offence, police stopped Wilkinson due to a broken brake light.
There was "no suggestion of any driving impairment," he said.

But a roadside test confirmed the presence of cannabis in his system.
His evidential reading revealed there was 2.9 microgrammes of the substance per litre of blood; the limit being 2.
Alex MacKenzie, defending, told the court: "He pleads guilty at the first opportunity.
"The disqualification is going to his hard; he's a semi-professional skateboarder and teaches young people."
Ms MacKenzie said the inevitable ban would affect her client's work.
She asked the court to keep the ban as short as possible.
The court fined Wilkinson £115 for the offence and ordered him to pay £85 costs, as well as a £46 victim surcharge.
He was banned from driving for 12 months.
