Comments (0)A DOZEN young musicians from the Purcell School in Watford will be giving a free concert at St Mary's Church, Fordingbridge on Saturday, October 18.
The musicians include 17-year-old cellist Lucy Andrews, whose father Dave Andrews was director of music at Forres Sandle Manor School in Fordingbridge.
Lucy played with the National Children's Orchestra before successfully auditioning for a place at the Purcell School at the age of 11.
In addition to Lucy's cello playing, the audience will hear a mixed programme of solos for woodwind, brass, strings, piano and voice as well as duets and ensemble pieces.
The concert begins at 3pm.
