Actor Simon Shepherd helped boost the coffers of West Lavington youth club when he appeared at a fund-raising event.
Mr Shepherd, who lives in Bath, is best known for his role as Dr Will Preston in the television programme Peak Practice.
He signed autographs at The Manor Gardens in West Lavington on Saturday following an appeal by friend and actor George Baker, who is life president of the youth club.
Mr Shepherd also read poetry with local soprano Barbara Gompels.
The event raised £1,460.
