YOUNG entrepreneurs pitched their business ideas to a panel of judges at a Dragons Den-style event.
Pupils from Moredon Primary School and Rodbourne Cheney Primary School vied to win cash from the panel of “dragons” in order to set up businesses and sell real products.
The event at Swindon’s Hilton Hotel was based on the BBC2 show Dragons Den, where entrepreneurs ask tycoons Theo Paphitis, Deborah Meaden, Peter Jones and Duncan Bannatyne to invest in their businesses.
Judges at Friday’s event included Channel 4 Secret Millionaire star Caroline Marsh, former CEO of Swindon Town FC Rikki Hunt, European strategy manager for Intel Andy Tait and Tony Martin of Zurich Community Trust.
Katelyn Brown, Shannon Gordon and Adam Stratford of ‘Make-a-face’ were among those who successfully pitched to the panel.
Katelyn, 11, said: “It was scary telling the Dragons our idea because they were asking lots of questions.”
