Firefighters were called out to a house fire in Canon Square, Melksham, during the early hours of Saturday morning.
A fire appliance from Melksham, two from Trowbridge and one from Bradford on Avon attended the ground floor fire which had also damaged the ceiling and the first floor.
Nobody was injured during the fire though it took several hours to put out. The cause of the fire is unknown.
