A man was treated for minor injuries after a fridge fell on him in Westbury yesterday afternoon.
The Great Western Ambulance Service control room received a 999 call at 12.25pm reporting that a man was opening the back doors of a lorry when a fridge fell on him, injuring his chest.
A double-manned ambulance from Warminster was sent to the scene and on arrival the crew began to assess the man’s injuries.
GWAS Emergency Care Assistant Justin Whatley said: “The patient had suffered minor injuries which we were able to treat at the scene so he did not need to go to hospital.”
