Families turned out to support the Busy Bees fete in Southwick at the weekend, helping to raise more than £500 for a new interactive white board for the charity-run pre-school.
Dozens of parents and children flocked to Southwick Village Hall and gardens on Saturday afternoon, despite the overcast weather and raised £550 in total.
Pre-school treasurer Zoe Jefferies said: “It was a brilliant day and the weather held out, which was what we were really worried about.
“We had a variety of stalls that both children and their parents enjoyed with face painting being one of the children’s favourites and the wine and water stall being a favourite for adults.
“Parents had to try and guess whether the bottles wrapped in newspaper were water or wine, which they seemed to enjoy.
“There were also chocolate fountains, a tombola and large raffle with a cash prize.”
