A Wiltshire man has died after his Skoda car was involved in a collision with a tanker on the B4040 near the railway bridge just outside Acton Turville at 9.08am this morning.
Officers from Avon and Somerset and Wiltshire Police were called and the Avon fire crew were on the scene. The Wiltshire Air Ambulance was scrambled but not required.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said the crash had caused traffic congestion along the B4040 and around Acton Turville.
