A deal between BT’s PlusNet and a money-saving website has secured the UK’s cheapest ever home broadband.

Incahoot.com, a free membership website which offers discounted lifestyle services such as mobile phones, mobile broadband and energy, has launched up to 8Mb home broadband for just £4.99 per month in conjunction with BT’s PlusNet.

That’s around half the price of other 8Mb packages currently offered in the UK and is a 16 per cent per cent discount on PlusNet’s usual price.

John Evans, CEO of Incahoot.com, Swindon, pictured said: “This is the cheapest deal in the UK for up to 8Mb broadband – it beats any price comparison sites.

“Our membership list has grown to over 400,000 in under a year and it’s the collective buying strength of our members which is helping us negotiate such great deals with leading companies.
