Governors at Corsham Regis Primary School are looking for a reindeer to make next month’s Christmas bazaar magical.
Chairman of governors Helen Hynes said the school has gone all out this year to make sure the Christmas bazaar is bigger and better than ever and hopes to make it complete with a reindeer.
She said: “We are trying to have an all-out Christmas bazaar.
“Unfortunately we haven’t got funding for a reindeer but we are hoping somebody may be able to donate one for the afternoon to join Santa, Frostie the Snowman and Santa’s elf.
“I think it would really make Christmas for the children as I don’t think any of them have seen a reindeer before.”
She said that there is such a buzz around the building as the school’s £600,000 extension is being built at the moment that they wanted to make this the most ‘magical’ bazaar they have had.
Parent teacher association chairman Rachel Fry and member Leanne Clarke are organising the event on December 3 (3.30pm-5pm) and have arranged a prize draw raffle, a tombola, various stalls including arts and crafts and a Year 6 ‘restaurant’.
If anyone is able to provide a reindeer for the event call Corsham Regis Primary School on 01249 712294.
