New shop in Sherston in award final

Sherston shoe shop Apples and Pairs has reached the regional final of the Countryside Alliance Awards.
The shop was opened a year ago by Hannah Allan,of Stanton St Quintin, when she could not find any shoes for her daughter.
Apples and Pairs first won the Malmesbury area Chamber of Commerce new business award in 2008.
Despite the risk of opening a shop in a recession it appears to be paying off.
The regional winners will be announced before Christmas and a UK final takes place in February.
