A sea of Santas will join TV Gladiator Tempest at Longleat near Warminster next month to help raise money for people who have suffered spinal cord injuries.

Organised by the Southern Spinal Injuries Trust (SSIT), the Santa Fun Run will take place on Sunday (Dec 6) at 10.15am and places are still available for those wishing to take part.

Heptathlete Lucy Boggis, aka Tempest in the cult tv series Gladiators, will lead the warm up in front of Longleat House.

The two-mile route will go through the Longleat estate, through High Wood into Horningsham and back down Lodge Drive towards the house.

The fun run is open to people of all ages and will be wheelchair friendly.

Entry costs £12 for adults and £6 for children in advance and includes a Santa suit and commemorative medal. People can register on the day when the entry fee will be £14 and £7.

After the event, participants will be able to buy food and drink including a hog roast provided by The Bath Arms in Horningsham.
