ENFIELD'S Volunteer Cadet Corps ran, swam and rowed the distance from London to Paris for charity.
The athletic team from the Met police completed the 560 miles on exercise equipment at Southbury Road leisure centre last Thursday, raising more than £800 for local charities.
The Volunteer Cadets began in June 1987 as part of Sir Peter Imbert's community partnership program.
The intention is to train young people to become good citizens through partnership with the local community and to assist the special constabulary at minor events.
Enfield's Volunteer Cadets meet at Redford Lodge Chapel in Church Street, Edmonton. Contact 8345 1346 for information.
