Westbury shop reopens – at the double

The manager of the Dorothy House hospice shop in Westbury is hoping its recent refurbishment will mean more money for those who need it.

The High Street shop has been extended into the adjoining premises, which used to be Fairprice, almost doubling the sales area.

The refurbishment took five weeks, during which the shop was closed for a week and a half. It was reopened by the town’s mayor Sue Ezra on Tuesday.

Manager Cherol North said: “It looks fantastic.

“We’ll raise more money because we’ll be able to display more stock. This means we can help more people.”

It doesn't look any different to before. First Trowbridge now Westbury. Maybe if DH has so much money to spare they could give some of it to cancer victims as the charity was set up to do?
.
If it is no longer a charity let it pay business rates like the other commercial outlets.
