Trowbridge boy, 8, fractures leg after being knocked down


An eight-year-old boy was airlifted to the Royal United Hospital in Bath yesterday evening after he was knocked over by a car in Trowbridge.

The Wiltshire Air Ambulance was called out to Buckleaze Close, where the accident happened shortly before 6pm.

The boy was treated at the scene for a fracture to his leg before being flown to hospital.

Gosh, this must of been as frightening for the boy as it was for whoever was looking after him at the time.Thank goodness it was no more serious than this,i hope the poor lad is ok and they find out how this happened.
