Firefighters were called out to Asda in Trowbridge last night after two children got stuck in a lift outside the store.
The children got stuck in the lift, which goes between the upper and lower levels of The Shires car park, off Bythesea Road, at about 7pm.
Firefighters from Trowbridge were called out at 7.05pm and got the children out by resetting the power system.
They were freed from the lift at 7.22pm.
Asda duty manager Andy Burden helped with the short rescue operation. The lift is now back in working order.
