Sixty children from primary schools across Trowbridge put their thinking caps on to take part in a maths challenge day.

Pupils from Studley Green, Walwayne Court, Bellefield, Staverton and Hilperton schools played maths games against each other in a day designed to encourage their understanding and appreciation of maths.

Hilperton collected the most points overall and Studley Green maths co-ordinator Pam Robertson said: “It was very successful. It’s a fun way of getting the children to develop their maths skills further.”
