Ferret racing to be held at charity plant sale
Ferret racing will feature at a plant sale being held to raise money for the Dorothy House Hospice in Winsley.
Bristol Ferret Club will be organising the action at the event on Saturday, which will be held in the hospice’s grounds.
Dorothy House event organiser Phillippa Watson said: “Ferret racing is becoming very popular – and not only on The Archers.”
At the event there will be a wide variety of plants and shrubs for sale, as well as gift and craft stalls, a tombola, raffle and a refreshments marquee stocked with home-made cakes.
The event runs from 11am to 3pm, and admission is just £1 for adults, with accompanied children getting in free.
