A 43-year-old man from Bristol will appear before magistrates’ next month accused of racially abusing a waitress at a hotel in Warminster.
Andrew Pearce, of Dundridge Lane, Bristol, has been charged with racially aggravated harassment following an incident at the Farmers Hotel in Silver Street at about 10pm on April 17.
Pearce, who is alleged to have made abusive comments towards a waitress about her being Polish, will appear at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on June 4.
He also faces two charges under the public order act and an offence relating to communication act, in connection with alleged abusive telephone calls to the hotel.
