POLICE have renewed an appeal for information about two youths, who punched and kicked a man after he stroked their dog.
The assault took place at around 4pm on Monday, March 20 as the 48-year-old man was walking along Upham Road when he came across a group of youths sitting on a wall with a dog on a lead.
As the man stroked the dog, two of the youths took exception and punched and kicked the man, causing facial swelling and bruising.
The suspects are described as white youths in their late teens or early 20s.
