John Bush, the Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire, is urging people to nominate voluntary groups for the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.
Nominations should be received by September 30 and more information is available at www.direct.gov.uk/ thequeensawardforvoluntaryservice or call (020) 7781 2397.
Mr Bush said: “Voluntary groups continue to play a pivotal role in the community. Recognising their influence is vital and I want Wiltshire to express their gratitude to these groups.”
