Fire at factory in Westbury
11:43am Friday 10th September 2010 in News By James Williams
Fire crews were called to the premises of Audience Systems Ltd on the West Wilts Trading Estate in Westbury this morning.
A small fire in a powder coat machine is causing concern because there is asbestos in the building.
In addition to fire crews from all over the area, the incident control unit from Devizes is in attendance.
From the scene Director of the company, Keith Ritson, said: “It’s a minor incident on a powder coat process.
“At this stage we don’t know if it’s an actual fire or just smouldering.”

1. Audience Systems is over a kilometre from Hawkeridge Park.
2. It was windy today but the wind direction was south-west (blowing away from you).
3. My information is that the presence of the Incidence Control Unit was purely precautionary. There is absolutely NO risk to the public.
4. It is customary in the written English language to use capitalisation at the beginning of each sentence.

Also, if the fire crews had thought there was any danger i'm sure they would have warned people.
