More than 250 primary school pupils attended an International Day at John Bentley School in Calne last week.
The children, who were all from John Bentley feeder schools, enjoyed taster sessions in a number of languages, ranging from Spanish and Welsh to Swahili and Creole.
They also took part in cultural activities, including Polish and flamenco dancing and tai kwon do sessions.
The day was part-run by trainee foreign languages teachers from Bath University.
John Bentley teacher Nicola Cobbold said: “It was lovely to see so many motivated pupils embracing the chance to learn new languages. The pupils really enjoyed the day.”
