Corsham's annual Twinning Market is taking place as part of Civic Day on the High Streeton Saturday from 8.30am.

The event marks 30 years of Corsham being twinned with the French town of Jargeau and will have a touch of style about it.

There will be lots of stalls representing what the two town’s are famous for.

To mark Civic Day there will be seven events located around the town centre. Highlights of the day will include a town quiz, a photographic competition and an exhibition on the making of 14,000 pennants for the 2012 Olympic Games.

The events mean the High Street will be closed to traffic from 8.30am-2.30pm while the market is in progress.
