THE Wiltshire Honey Show is coming to St John’s School, Marlborough, on Saturday October 15.
Visitors to the show, from noon until 4.30pm and organised by Kennet Beekeepers Association, can learn about all aspects of beekeeping during the event.
They can also hear about the plight of the honey bee as keepers fight to keep their hives free of the devastating varoa mite that has destroyed bee colonies worldwide.
There will be competitions, honey tasting, the opportunity to make candles with bees wax and an observation hive. Visitors can get tips on which garden flowers to plant to attract bees.
Entry and parking is free.
