Two men have been arrested in connection with the theft of four Barbour Explorer jackets for women from a shop in Corsham.
The countryside coats were taken from Wadswick Country Store at 2.45pm on Friday, January 13.
A man took the jackets, worth £239 each, from the store, but staff managed to make note of his car’s registration number.
Following checks on the Police National Computer, it was confirmed that the car was from Yorkshire and had been used during other crimes committed in the south west.
Last week, the car was stopped on the M5 and the two men in the vehicle were arrested and taken to Melksham Police Station.
The pair have been released on bail until the end of this month.
