Woman hurt in B-road crash drama

A WOMAN from Bratton was airlifted to hospital today after her scooter was in collision with the front of a tractor.
She was driving a Piaggio moped along the B3098 between Bratton and Erlestoke at 1.18pm when the accident happened.
The woman, in her late 30s suffered a broken ankle and dislocated shoulder and was taken to Royal United Hospital, Bath.
Police closed the road while they cleared the scene.
