Chocolate lovers can visit Hartley Farm Shop and Cafe on Saturday, for its first Easter Family Fun Day.
During the event, between 10am and 4pm, at the Winsley farm, there will be lots of Easter eggs to feast on, face painting and a chance for children to have trailer rides, pulled by a tractor around the grounds.
There will also be an appearance by author Tim Lerwill, who will be giving a reading from his new children’s book, Market Day.
Tom Bowles, the manager of Hartley Farm Shop and Cafe, said: “This will be a fantastic event. We’re even hoping to complete our new farm trail in time for the Easter event, so that visitors can explore the countryside around the farm and meet some of our pigs, chickens, sheep and cows, all reared outdoors.”
Author Mr Lerwill is also going to be signing copies of his books, Snow Sheep and The Vegetable Patch, which will be available at a discounted rate from the farm shop.
Mr Lerwill said: “I chose Hartley Farm as it’s a great location on a real working farm and I sense there’s plenty of adventure to be had here.”
Hartley Farm Cafe will also be serving refreshments throughout the day.
