A day after headlining the Onefest music festival, ex-Blur singer Damon Albarn enjoyed afternoon tea in Bishops Cannings.
The musician enjoyed cupcakes and Victoria sponge cake at the parish hall where tea was being served as part of a Jubilee quiz cross country trail on Sunday. Organiser Eliza-beth Frearson confessed that she and others did not know who he was but a family eating nearby recognised him – although he was left to eat in peace.
About 100 people took part in the trail which involved walking up to seven miles around Bishops Cannings. Along the way were questions for a quiz about the Queen’s life.
The event raised £500 to be shared between Rowdeford Charity Trust, Victim Support and Salisbury District Hospital Stars Appeal.
