A man is to face trial by judge and jury accused of raping a young girl more than a decade after he is said to have sexually abused another child.
Antonio Ditoro, of Yockney Close, Corsham, is charged with having sex with the youngster without her consent when she was aged between seven and 11 years old.
The 57-year-old is also said to have committed two further sex offences on the same girl between the spring of 2004 and the end of 2007.
He is also accused of indecently assaulting a female under the age of 14 between the start of 1990 and the end of the following year.
Ditoro pleaded not guilty to rape, indecent assault, sexual assault of a child under 13 and causing or inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity.
Judge Douglas Field, sitting at Swindon Crown Court, adjourned the case to Monday, November 5 when he is to face a trial on the four charges.
He was released on bail on until then on the condition that he does not contact named prosecution witnesses.
