Information points on new Corsham campus

Information points marking the building progress of Corsham’s Community Campus project have been put up around the site in Beech-field Road.

Work on the campus, known as Springfield, started in June and the finished development will include a range of community facilities, including a new library, exhibition and recreational space, meeting rooms and cafe bar.

Information points have been placed around the site displaying maps and information on the design of the campus as well as news on any forthcoming work.

A model of the new campus is also on display at the heritage centre in Corsham’s High Street and shows how the facility will look once it is completed in early 2014.

Allan Bosley chair of the Corsham Shadow Community Operations Board, which is overseeing the project, said: “Local views were key to shaping the campus and it is important people can continue to watch their ideas evolve and feel a part of this project.

“The information points provide a progress report on how we are doing and where we plan to go in the future and we hope people will use them on a regular basis.”
