Melksham's Wiltshire School of Gymnastics invited dozens of children and adults to have a go at gymnastics and trampolining last month.
The purpose-built gym was one of 5,000 sports venues hosting a National Join In Event, organised by LOCOG to encourage the Olympians of the future.
It was also an opportunity for the school to encourage new volunteers and staff to be part of the gym as it looks to expand its provision in the future.
Coach Clare Rodwell, who helped organise the free event, said: “We had lots of eager youngsters turning up, having seen the gymnastics on the TV and wanting to have a go.
“With supervision, they were able to have a go on the beam, bars, floor and vault and try out the rings and pommel horse getting a real taste of gymnastics.”
