Chicken lorry crashes on M4

AN ARTICULATED lorry carrying live chickens has been involved in a crash on the M4.
The incident happened at approximately 9.40am on the eastbound carriageway, one mile prior to junction 16 at West Swindon.
The lorry is believed to have been in collision with a van and five other vehicles.
One lane is blocked on the eastbound carriageway and the slip road is at a standstill.
Ambulance and police are on the scene and there are walking wounded, however no-one is trapped in any of the vehicles.
Fire crews have also been called.
