Pair from Trowbridge and Melksham facing trial over conspiracy to steal car

Two men accused of conspiring to steal vehicles will face a trial by jury later this year.

Steven Barham and Daniel Stacey are accused of carrying out the offence in late November and early December last year The pair, both aged 23, pleaded not guilty to two charges of conspiracy to steal when they appeared at Swindon Crown Court.

It is alleged they conspired to steal between November 29 and December 2, and then between December 4 and 17.

The case was adjourned to December 5, fortrial by jury, and Barham, of Sheridan Gardens, Trowbridge, and Stacey, of Bank Street, Melksham, were both released on bail.
