Melksham's fourth Food Festival kicks off tonight, starting two weeks of culinary-inspired events, activities and entertainment.
An evening of chocolate indulgence at Melksham Assembly Hall starts proceedings tonight, and highlights over the next fortnight include wine tasting, a food quiz, a farm visit, a bakery tour, cream teas, pudding nights, a safari lunch and two safari suppers.
The ever-popular Festival Food Fair on September 16 wraps up the event and is packed with culinary stalls, events and activities.
Face of the Festival Jonathan Furby will share his cooking skills, Melksham’s Sultan restaurant will demonstrate Indian cooking, with numerous food stalls and children’s entertainment.
Sainsbury’s is the headline sponsor this year, with support from Leekes, West Country Educational Agency, Sign Marketing and Melksham House.
