The curtain came down on Bradford on Avon’s annual fringe festival on Sunday with a huge party at the Three Horseshoes.
Throughout FringeBOA, which was launched on September 1, the town was buzzing with events across a variety of venues.
Highlights included live music, stand-up comedy, art exhibitions and literature workshops.
During Sunday’s finale, a raffle was held at the pub, with prizes from shops and businesses in the town.
Kurt Paulus, one of the organisers, said: “We had some very good occasions throughout the festival and the closing party went very well.
“Everyone was relaxing having a good time and people seemed to really enjoy the prize draw, so I think we can describe the festival as being rather successful.”
Mr Paulus said he was pleased with popularity of the Late Night Fringe Club, an innovation this year, at The Swan, in Church Street, throughout the festival.
The informal event featured a lot of intimate performances by a range of musical artists.
FringeBOA is organised by a five-strong committee and Mr Paulus said he would be happy to have find volunteers to plan the next one.
He said: “We are always keen to hear from new people who would like to join the team and get involved with the fringe festival.”
Bradford on Avon Police have praised the organisation of the festival and said there were no reports of problems at events.
PCSO Joe Leeds said: “From patrols conducted around the town during the festival, we could see the town’s residents really enjoyed the events responsibly.
“Credit needs to go to them, the organisers and landlords in Bradford on Avon.”
