NORTH BERKS LEAGUE: Faringdon draw but still close on leaders

FARINGDON Town are just one point off top spot in the North Berks League Division One table following their 3-3 draw with Crowmarsh Gifford. Derren Harrington, Dan Hoskin and Robert Owen registered for Faringdon while James Lee, Andy Allum and Steve Gesner netted for Crowmarsh.
There were no matches in Division Two, but as Benson AFC Reserves have withdrawn from the league, Coleshill United are now top of the standings.
Jamie Dutton scored the only goal of the game as Radley Reserves triumphed 1-0 at home against Faringdon Town A in Division Five.
In the second round of the Berks & Bucks Junior Cup, Coleshill United won 4-0 at Reading League Division Two outfit Theale Reserves.
Ewan Prickett, Simon Beazley, Dan Bradbury and Richard Evans were on the scoresheet. Third Division Milton United Reserves took Second Division Lambourn Sports Reserves all the way to penalties before losing 5-4 in the shootout. Dan Osbourne and Jack Alder had scored Milton's normal-time goals but Alex Toley and Damian Harris equalised for Lambourn.
