Police are appealing for information after a large amount of jewellery and silverware was stolen during an overnight burglary in Netheravon between Friday and Saturday, October 26–27.
The burglary took place at a property in Westcourt in Salisbury Road after offenders broke in to steal what police have described as “a high-value amount” of Omani silverware and jewellery. The haul included a traditional Omani dagger and scabbard in silver and gold, anklets and silver bracelets. Some of the anklets contain small stones or seeds inside, which rattle when shaken.
Anyone with details can call PC Trevor Morgan on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
