British Heart Foundation’s coffers have been boosted by fundraising by the Chippenham branch.
An annual event at Kington Langley Village Hall raised more than £1,000. Organised by Dot Ings, of Chippenham, there were various stalls including cakes, crafts and Christmas cards.
Also at the event the branch was presented with a cheque for £757 raised by Fiona Waind, her mother-in-law Maureen and sister-in-law Hayley Uzzell, all of Christian Malford.
The money was raised through different events including a cake sale, raffles and car boot sale and by Mrs Waind running the Great North Run.
