The Radnor Arms, in Corston, is slowly recovering following flooding earlier this month.

Owner Paula Webley said: “We’re still trying to dry out. All the worktops have been torn up and the wallpaper torn off so the cleaning stage is almost finished.

“We’re waiting for carpets to be put down and wallpaper to be hung, then the lines to the bar and that’s the big bit.

“We’re hoping to open on November 28.”
