TROWBRIDGE pilot Paula Walker claimed 10th in the fourth World Cup meeting of the season in Germany today.
In a tight race, which saw the top 10 pairs separated by little more than half a second, Paxcroft Mead's Walker and brakewoman Gillian Cooke clocked a combined 1:54.61 for their two runs, 0.56 of a second behind the Canada 1 pair of Kaillie Humphries and Chelsea Valois.
Walker said on Twitter: "Although we came 10th I'm still kinda happy. This has never ever been a great track for me so top 10 in the World.''
Walker's partner John Jackson finished tied 14th in the men's two-man event this afternoon.
Jackson and brakeman John Baines clocked 1:52.36 for their two runs.
Jackson goes again with his four-man crew tomorrow.
