A man, aged 21, who is accused of robbing the same victim twice in six weeks, has been bailed by a judge.
Rhys Carey, of Bath Road, Devizes, is alleged to have carried out the first offence in Gipsy Lane, Swindon, on September 10, taking £4.
He is then accused of robbing the same victim in the town on October 19, stealing £15.
No charges were formally put to Carey and he did not enter any pleas during the brief hearing at Swindon Crown Court.
Judge Douglas Field adjourned the case until March 15 and released Carey on bail, on condition that he does not have contact with witnesses and stays out of Swindon.
